Where to buy tools, paint, plumbing and furniture for a rented flat.
checked in August 2026A rented flat almost always needs something added: a shelf, a light bulb, a decent mattress. Both big stores exist for exactly that.
🔨 Where to go
Gorgia
A large building and renovation store: plumbing, tools, paint, lighting and household goods.
Right if you are fitting out a flat or want everything for a job in one place.
JYSK
A furniture and homeware store: beds, mattresses, textiles, kitchenware, decor and storage.
A good option for furnishing a flat cheaply and buying the basics.
