What to take home from Batumi: handmade ceramics, cheese, wine, honey and jam — and where to buy them other than the tourist stalls.
checked in August 2026On the boulevard and around the Piazza the souvenirs are all the same and cost three times what they should. Below are the places I go to myself, where things are made by hand and the people know what they are selling.

PARTALABatumi
A ceramics workshop and gift shop: mugs, plates, pins and postcards, all made on the spot. They speak English and Russian, and they ship.
VINE SHOPOld Town
A souvenir shop with wine, honey and jam — and a place where you are always welcome. The owner is Alexander.
ArtBatumiBatumi
A handmade gift shop: ceramics, jewellery, soap, candles and perfume, stickers and postcards. They also run workshops and handmade markets here. The same team's second shop is Craftsy.
