Piazza Square

An Italian quarter inside the city: mosaics, stained glass, a clock tower. Lit up with live music in the evening, quiet by day — at nine in the morning it is entirely yours.

Europe Square

The city's grand square, with the Medea statue holding the Golden Fleece and European-style buildings around it. A good place to start a walk through the centre.

6 May Park

Laid out at the end of the 19th century together with the boulevard. A swan pond, a “Geneva” fountain, funfair rides, a Ferris wheel, the dolphinarium and a zoo, all in one place. By the entrance grows a magnolia planted by Alexander III in 1888.

Lech and Maria Kaczyński Park

A modern park on the New Boulevard: avenues, flower beds, playgrounds and installations — stone eggs, lettering against the sea, a stone wishing labyrinth. The Metro City mall is next door.

The beach here:
narrow, and starts with large stones
